SHIP and Y Center to Host Corporate Innovation Lab in Savannah, May 21–22
Savannah, GA – May 2025 – The Savannah Harbor Innovation Partnership (SHIP), in collaboration with the Y Center and Georgia Southern University’s Business Innovation Group (BIG), is proud to announce the upcoming Corporate Innovation Lab, a two-day immersive event taking place May 21–22, 2025, in Savannah, Georgia.
This high-impact program invites students, early-career professionals, and entrepreneurs to collaborate directly with corporate partners to solve real-world challenges through a hands-on innovation sprint. Participants will work in teams to explore and develop tech-enabled solutions, guided by experienced facilitators using tools rooted in human-centered design, agile prototyping, and business model innovation.
The workshop offers an invaluable opportunity for students and emerging innovators to gain experience in solving complex business problems while strengthening their creative thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. Corporate partners play a vital role by presenting industry-specific challenges, mentoring participants, and fostering a spirit of innovation that transcends traditional silos.
